VizThink ‘08 Agenda to be Released
Well, the time has come. We’re wrapping up a few last minute details, but the draft of the conference agenda is scheduled to be released on Monday, December 3rd. It will include Session Titles, Facilitators, Dates, Times, and Rooms. We’ll be adding more information to it and making it more visual over the coming weeks, but we wanted to get it out as soon as possible given the huge demand. It will still be a draft as some of the rooms or times may change, but it will give you a good idea of the content in the breakout sessions. We’ve brought together 39 of the best from our industry to lead us in discussions, get us involved in hands-on practice, and introduce us to new ideas and concepts. We’re really excited about the possibilities and hope you are too.
Be sure to continue to check the blog for the latest updates!

Popular Visual Thinking
Arguably one of the most frequently used (and therefore most popular) methods of visual thinking is the napkin sketch. How many times have you asked the wait staff at a restaurant for a pen to be able to demonstrate an idea to someone? It’s even better when the restaurant has the paper table cloths that offer a much larger canvas! I was at a dinner recently with several of the facilitators from the conference and I thought we might run out of paper. One even came prepared with scissors to be able to easily transport the new creations back home! But I digress.
Given the popularity of the Napkin Sketch, our final facilitator for VizThink ’08 is well prepared to take our skills to the next level. Dan Roam is the author of the soon to be released book, The Back of the Napkin: Solving Problems with Pictures.
Register for the conference now at http://www.vizthink.com/registration.html to join Dan and a list of other amazing topics and discussions!
