We’ve got a lot of great sessions planned for VizThink ’08.  Almost all of them have been announced on the conference section of the wiki at http://wiki.vizthink.com/vizthink08.  In the next week or so, we’ll be announcing the entire schedule so you can begin to plan your event.

Many of the sessions will be hands on experiences with graphic recording, mind mapping, information graphics, presentations, and so many more great ways to tell stories and influence people.  Each composition includes choices…what should be included? what should be left out? how much detail is relevant? what is relevant anyway? should pictures or videos be modified? how does labeling and word choice matter?  All of these questions are at their root, questions of ethics.  As we were putting these together, we realized that a conference all about the industry and how to do it wouldn’t be complete without a discussion on ethics.

To lead the discussion (and likely debate), we’ve brought in a leading expert in the field of visual ethics, Dr. Donna Kienzler.  You can check out her bio (http://wiki.vizthink.com/DonnaKienzler) on our wiki.

Register now for the conference to join these exciting experiences and discussions at http://www.vizthink.com/registration.html.
