Early Registration for VizThink '09 in San Jose Begins

Early registration is now open for VizThink ’09 in San Jose.  The early registration fee of $995 is good through November 30th.  In addition, those who attended VizThink ’08 in San Francisco should be watching their mail for a discount code worth $100 of the attendee fee at the time of registration, so you could get in for only $895 if you act fast.

We’ll start announcing the facilitators and sessions in November, but in the meantime be sure to reserve your spot now.

What’s New

This year we’ll be emphasizing the roll of storytelling in visualization.  We’ll have all new topics while bringing back some of your favorite facilitators and adding a whole new set as well.  We’ve got lots of great new things planned, many based on your feedback.  Here are just some of the things planned for next year:

• Adding more networking time
• Repeating popular sessions
• Including “unconference” or “barcamp” activities
• Including content for beginners and experts
• Adding clearly identified tracks
• Adding extensive online networking capabilities (those are available now!)
  …and yes, having coffee available during all conference hours

What’s the Same

In addition, we’ll be bringing back some of the most popular features from our previous events:

• A diverse set of visual thinking experts and approaches
• Lots of hands on experiences
• An interesting and diverse group of attendees
• Few lectures and keynotes
