Visualization Through Play – Announcing Per Kristiansen for VizThink Berlin
You’ve heard me say that I’m excited to have various facilitators and topics at events, and it’s all true. One consistent piece of feedback we get from our attendees is that all of the content is so good that they have a hard time choosing. We have that same problem. The content for our events gets selected because they are things that we (and we think the community) want to go to the session. This topic, though, holds a special interest.
I’ve been a big fan of Legos since I was at least 5 years old. I still have my original Lego sets…back when there were 4 basic bricks in a very standard color set and only a few augmented pieces like roof tiles, arches and hard rubber wheels. Even the, now iconic, Lego people were just beginning to become popular. Since then, the options for Lego have expanded dramatically extensive sets, custom sets, robotics, video games, software, and even into business. Legos aren’t just for kids anymore. We’re very excited to announce that Per Kristiansen who has been involved with LEGO SERIOUS PLAY since the beginning will be facilitating at VizThink Berlin.
Per joined Trivium in September 2006, prior to that he was part of the leadership team at Danfoss Universe, the unique science park which also offers innovation processes to organisations. Per took part in the parks first year and was thus part in establishing this organisation. LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, was part of the parks proposition to its corporate clients. Before that Per spent a number of years working in the LEGO Group. First, a period as change agent in the Pre-School area, where he was the right hand of the Global Brand Director. After this experience he held a position as director in the LEGO controlled start up company (Executive Discovery) that developed and managed LEGO SERIOUS PLAY methodology. In this position Per was P&L responsible for–and developed the LEGO SERIOUS PLAY partner network in–Europe, South Africa and the Middle-East, as well as one of two global master trainers. For more information on Per, be sure to check out his full bio.
