New VizThink communities in the works…

As you may remember in September we had 3 new local communities launch (Madrid, Seattle & Amsterdam). Well, we’re getting ready to grow even more over the coming months – right now we’ve got people working on, or have expressed interest in getting a local community going in the following cities/regions:

North America Boston, MA Chicago, IL Detroit, MI Los Angeles, CA New York, NY Philadelphia, PA Raleigh, NC San Francisco, CA Utah Washington, DC

Europe France Dublin, Ireland Leeds/Manchaster, England St. Petersburg, Russia

If you’re in/near any of these areas, or any of our existing communities (Austin, Amsterdam, London, Madrid, Seattle & Toronto) and interested in helping out, or just participating, send me an email at community@vizthink.com and I’ll connect you with the other people in that area.

Don’t see something near you but want get involved? Email me and I’ll include your region in the next post and we’ll see what we can get started.

Upcoming Events

VizThink Austin, London & Leeds all have events coming up. London’s next event is on November 13th & Austin’s is on December 2nd (details to come, watch the blog). Leeds (U.K.) will hold their first VizThink community event on November 11, 2008.

We’ll also be having a day long workshop in Austin on December 3rd and will announce more details on facilitators, topics and registration in the coming days.
