The Value of Visual Thinking

David Armano of the Dachis Group, just posted his slide deck from a talk he gave last week at Blogworld 2009 titled “The Value of Visual Thinking in Social Business”.  His presentation contains some really great insights into how visuals are useful and how to get yourself thinking visually.

His breakdowns (the 4 M’s and 6 steps of getting visuals) are a great summary of the process of creating effective visuals, and he concludes the presentation with a couple of his own examples of process based on some visuals he’s created. I’ve embedded it below an all in all it’s well worth the 5 or 10 minutes it’ll take you to flip through.

    Visuals are important because it clearly explains the critical aspects and techniques of any design a designer wants to make better. A great tool to relay the message although it is not the message in itself.
