The Story of Bottled Water

March 22, 2010 was World Water Day an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and was intended to ensure that awareness was drawn to just how valuable water is and how important clean water for all is an important factor in having a healthy world.

This year, the folks over at The Story of Stuff, marked World Water Day with the release of a new video “The Story of Bottled Water” (embedded below). Like our friends Common Craft, The Story of Stuff has carved out a niche for themselves creating short videos that use effective visuals to explain ideas.

This latest video takes a look at the Bottled Water industry and how an entirely manufactured industry rose up, and what its true impact is on the world:
