There was a lot of brainwork this week in Rennes France bringing together web developpers, web designers, graphic designers, telecom engineers, political sciences students, etc to work on developping infoviz based on public opendata: extracting data, processing, enhancing and visualising.

We passed these to days trying to analyse Rennes city’s financial data : this article is a balance of these two days, pointing out what are the weakness of data opening, what we should do to make it more effective, etc..
